By downloading or using Cockroach Wallet you agree to these terms. Please read them — a non-custodial wallet puts you in full control, and full responsibility, of your funds.
1. Non-custodial wallet
Cockroach Wallet is non-custodial. Your seed phrase and private keys are generated and stored, encrypted, on your own device. Cockroach Chain Corp never has access to your seed phrase, keys or funds, and cannot move, freeze or recover them. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your seed phrase and for every transaction you sign.
2. The wallet is free
The wallet itself is free to use. You pay only the normal blockchain network (gas) fee when you send a transaction, and any fee charged by a bridge or swap venue you choose to use.
3. No warranty
Cockroach Wallet is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every network, token or device.
4. Risks you accept
- If you lose your seed phrase, no one — including us — can recover your funds.
- Digital assets are volatile; you can lose value, including total loss.
- Blockchain transactions are irreversible.
- Networks, bridges and smart contracts you interact with are operated by third parties and may fail or be exploited.
- Never share your seed phrase. We will never ask for it by DM, email, form or "support" call.
5. Install only the real wallet
Only install Cockroach Wallet from the official Chrome Web Store listing published by Cockroach Chain Corp. We are not responsible for losses caused by fake or modified copies installed from any other source.
6. Not advice; not an offer
Nothing provided through the wallet or this website is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell any asset.
7. Eligibility & lawful use
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, and must not use the wallet where doing so would be unlawful or in a sanctioned/restricted jurisdiction. The wallet is not directed at anyone under 18.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cockroach Chain Corp and its affiliates are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the wallet, including lost or stuck funds, failed transactions, or forgotten credentials.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version lives at this address with its effective date. Continued use means you accept the latest version.
